Charles F. Porter, 'Finding Faith' producer, dies at 47 after cancer battle

Charles F. Porter, producer of the 2025 film Finding Faith, has died at 47 after a lengthy cancer battle, his family confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Nov. 4. Porter died at his home in Calabasas, California, after initially battling Hodgkin lymphoma 17 years earlier. His wife of 18 years, Candice Tab-Porter, posted tributes on Instagram describing his integrity and the hope he maintained during treatment, saying he “found beauty in the little things and never complained.” Porter and Tab-Porter shared two daughters, Layla Rose, 9, and Juliette Jasmine Porter, 6. Born March 13, 1979, in Oxford, England, he graduated from Duke University and later worked as an actor, producer, and author.
