Chiefs trading offensive tackle Wanya Morris to Falcons: Sources

The Falcons are acquiring three-year Chiefs tackle Wanya Morris in a trade, marking their second Kansas City offensive lineman addition this offseason. They will send KC a 2027 sixth-round pick and receive a 2027 seventh-round pick in return. Morris, a third-round selection by the Chiefs in 2023, started 16 games across three seasons, but had only one start last year. A Georgia native and Grayson High alumnus, Morris joins a Falcons line anchored by left tackle Jake Matthews, with Kansas City teammate Jawaan Taylor expected at right tackle after signing a one-year free-agent deal in March. Storm Norton was the only veteran reserve before Morris' arrival.
