Critical One, GIP agree to support work at Howells Lake project

Critical One Energy signed a memorandum of understanding with Green Infrastructure Partners to support work at the Howells Lake Antimony-Gold Project in Ontario, 120 km west of the Ring of Fire. The agreement covers road planning, civil works, workforce training, and contract mining services. Training for First Nation members will be delivered with Fleming College in Lindsay via the Parnham Family Student Endowment.

Construction is planned to begin in June 2026. The MoU has a 24-month initial term and remains non-binding until definitive agreements, regulatory approvals, and permits are secured. In September 2025, Critical One Energy acquired an 18.5% stake in Dark Star Minerals, a Namibia-focused uranium explorer.
