England kit search demand jumped 518% after Mexico win, underlining how quickly supporters act when results land. JD Sports said Google searches for “England shirt” rose 1,652% following England’s World Cup victory over Mexico early Sunday (UK time). Interest also grew for “England top” (+811%) and “England jersey” (+658%) as fans moved to buy ahead of the weekend quarter-final against Norway. Demand extended to women’s and children’s products, with “women’s England shirt” up 767% and “kids England top” up 500% on Monday. JD cited particularly strong take-up from families and younger fans. The report added the UK was set to spend £2.9 billion at retail on this year’s tournament, and referenced a 750% spike in Lionesses shirt sales after last year’s Euros semi-final win.
