Fire put 7 in double figures in 102-92 win over Dream, who play without injured Reese

Megan Gustafson scored 17 points and helped the Portland Fire beat the Atlanta Dream 102-92 on Saturday, even with Dream missing All-Star Angel Reese due to an injury. The Fire placed seven players in double figures, including Emily Engstler with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Carla Leite with 13 points and 10 assists. Portland’s shooting was strong from deep, making 14 of 29 three-point attempts and converting 36 of 60 shots overall for 60%, with 28 assists. The Dream were paced by Allisha Gray’s 20 points, while Madina Okot added a career-high 19 points and eight rebounds as a starter. Portland led by eight after three quarters and regained control early in the fourth, with a floater by Leite extending the margin to 95-83 with 3½ minutes remaining.
