Hampshire Chamber's Boat Show lunch celebrates 175 years of 'supporting and connecting businesses'
More than 100 business leaders attended the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual Southampton Boat Show lunch, held at the Novotel Southampton on the show’s opening day. The event served as the chamber’s signature networking opportunity for its 175th anniversary calendar and leaned into a maritime theme, drawing parallels between managing changing sea conditions and leading organisations through uncertainty. Keynote speaker Paul Adamson, founder of Lighthouse Training and a sailor with 25 years at sea and a quarter of a million miles logged, shared experiences from three phone calls that shaped his career and a forthcoming book framework called SHINE. Presentations were also given by UK Export Finance manager Ian Power and British Marine president Lyndsay McClay, with sponsorship from multiple organisations including NatWest and British Marine.
