Harbor volleyball pulls off road celebration, Petoskey's Washington makes finals

Harbor Springs got the boost it needed on Tuesday night in Charlevoix, snapping an 0-8-1 start with a three-set win over the host Rayders. The Rams had dropped their first two matches at the Pellston Invite, but they claimed set scores of 25-20, 25-22 and 25-23 to end the skid. The road victory also sets up a postseason rematch on the same court, with playoff action beginning in early November. Harbor coach Abbie McCarthy credited the team’s focus point-by-point. Avery Sears led with 16 digs, nine kills and two blocks, while Riley Kring posted 22 assists and four kills.
