Fishing reports for Canyon Ferry cover a mix of strong action on walleyes and trout, with bass and shore fishing lagging. The best walleye fishing is along the east shoreline north and south of Goose Bay, using trolling bottom bouncers with worm harnesses in 20 to 30 feet or jigs with worms. Additional walleye hotspots include Confederate, and waters between the Silos and the Ponds, plus north-end areas such as Cemetery Island. Rainbows are also hitting on traditional walleye setups, including spots from the Silos to White Earth. Smallmouth bass are landing on the north end near rocky areas.
