India Tops Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships With 13 Medals
India topped the Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships 2026 in Ahmedabad with 13 medals, including three gold, as the event concluded Saturday at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex. Hosted by the Billiards & Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) and held with endorsements from the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) and Commonwealth Sport, the tournament featured medal presentations attended by IOA president Dr PT Usha. Aditya Snehal Mehta won men’s snooker gold by beating Dhvaj Haria 3-0 in an all-Indian final. Anupama Ramachandran took women’s English billiards gold, edging Revanna Umadevi 1-0, while Rayaan Razmi claimed men’s English billiards gold. India also earned other podium finishes across snooker, English billiards, heyball, 10-ball pool, and blackball. Great Britain and Australia contributed multiple titles as well.
