Kendal fishing rod brand celebrates 10 years in business as Rigged & Ready marks a decade since launching in 2016 as a family-run company focused on compact, travel-friendly fishing rods. The brand positions its products as more versatile than conventional designs, emphasizing rods that break down into compact sections and can be used across multiple angling styles, while aiming to fit into backpacks, luggage, cars and even bikes. Its lineup includes the X Series, Smuggler Series, Predator Series, Fish Rig Series, S Series, Fly 2-IN-1 and Rucksack Rods, and many models offer adjustable length, tips, or handles. Rigged & Ready sells via its own websites and major online marketplaces, and says it is ranked as the top travel fishing rod brand on Amazon UK, USA and Europe. The company also sells through selected brick-and-mortar retailers, including two Lake District outlets and The Tackle Box. It highlights growth in the US, where the sector is estimated to be around 10 times larger than the UK, and notes it has begun selling in Japan. Co-founder Andy Rigg ties the mission to making anglers fish more often without bulky equipment.
