Man charged with rape of 14-year-old boy in Portsmouth

Police in Hampshire and Isle of Wight say a 33-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences, including the alleged rape of a 14-year-old boy, in Portsmouth. Authorities allege the incident occurred in an alley off London Road on 11 August, between 19:00 and 20:00 BST. The force said the alleged victim spoke on a bus to a man not previously known to the child. Sadiq Farhad Azad, who police described as an Iraqi national with no fixed abode, was also charged with allegedly stalking a woman in her 20s over the course of a year and with criminal damage to a family member’s car. He was remanded in custody and due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday.
