Tyler Bass is set to return for the Buffalo Bills’ 2026 season after spending all of 2025 on injured reserve with hip and groin injuries. The kicker underwent surgery in late November to repair a sports hernia, and Matt Prater filled in for Buffalo during Bass’s absence. At the start of this year’s training camp, Bass said he was “feeling good” and was “excited to get back,” and he kicked publicly for the first time in nearly a year during Saturday night practice, going 8-for-8. His 2026 cap hit is $3,050,000. Bass took a $1.5 million pay cut to remain, and his contract includes an out after this season that could save more than $4 million for 2027.
