NextBoat Launches National AI Platform Rollout Through Strategic Partnership with MarineMax, the World's Largest Recreational Boat and Yacht Retailer

NextBoat’s national AI platform rollout marks a new step for the marine used-boat market, backed by a strategic partnership with MarineMax. Wilmington, North Carolina-based NextBoat, an AI-powered marine technology company, said MarineMax will become its preferred wholesale and trade-in partner under the agreement announced July 1, 2026. The deal routes a significant and growing share of MarineMax’s trade-in and pre-owned inventory through the NextBoat AI platform to the company’s nationwide network of wholesale buyers. MarineMax, described as the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, reported more than $2.3 billion in annual revenue across 120 locations worldwide. NextBoat said the AI platform uses real transaction data to support valuations, enable rapid wholesale bidding, and automate deal tracking. The partnership also leverages MarineMax’s Newcoast finance and insurance arm to support recurring insurance and financing revenue potential over time.
