Now have our beautiful Ottawa River back" - Burned boat finally removed

A burned boat that had been floating near a dock in Ohio for months has finally been removed, according to local coverage from Toledo, Ohio. The family in Shoreland said they’re relieved to see the Ottawa River empty after the vessel spent more than three months next to Barry Hornbacher’s dock. The incident began in July, when the boat caught fire with three people aboard; all three were hospitalized for burn injuries. After a news segment featuring Hornbacher aired last week, the owner of Lost Peninsula Marina in Michigan, along with his son, hauled the boat away. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said charges were filed against the owner, though they deny ownership.
