Obituary: Gary T. Noyes

Gary T. Noyes, 69, of Portland, Maine, died Aug. 16, 2026. Born Sept. 25, 1956, in Hawthorne, California, he was the son of Donald and Stella Noyes and grew up with his sister, Geraldine Marchand. Noyes was a proud member of UA Local 716 Maine Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and worked for his career as a pipefitter. He married Deborah Conley on Dec. 18, 2009. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and time with family and friends, and was known to grandchildren as “Bumpy” and to others as “Ga-Ga.” A celebration of life will be held Sept. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bruno’s Restaurant & Tavern in Portland. Donations are requested to the Maine Journeymen Group, noting “Joseph Asali Scholarship.”
