One of the Hottest American Ultra-Fast Superyachts Hits the Market

DB9, a U.S.-built “hypercar” superyacht inspired by the Aston Martin brand, is ready for a new owner after a reported $5 million refit. Measuring 171 feet (52 meters), it’s said to reach about 37 mph (60 kph), placing it two to three times faster than comparable yachts in its class, and it features extravagant outdoor living including three pools. Built in an American yard linked to Palmer Johnson, DB9 was delivered in 2010 to Russian businessman Sergei Pugachev, whose assets were seized. After subsequent abandonment at Istanbul, serial U.S. yacht owner John Rosatti rescued it and restored it nine years after launch at the Dunya Yachts shipyard in Istanbul.
