Organisation which supports people in recovery wins health award for second time: Moving On Inverclyde has secured the Health and Care Champion of the Year award for the second year in a row. Sponsored by Hagan Pharmacy, the recognition highlights the group’s support for adults affected by substance use through one-to-one help, recovery groups, counselling and wellbeing activities, alongside peer mentoring. Chief executive Bev Thow and events and marketing manager Melissa Pick collected the honour. The organisation’s leaders emphasized that the award reflects the experiences of the people they support and the progress they achieve. John Hagan, owner of Hagan Pharmacy, said the firm has sponsored the awards again this year and praised the calibre of finalists and winners.
