Packers Face Steep Price for Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Report
The Green Bay Packers are among several teams reportedly checking in on Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor as the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline approaches. NFL insider Jordan Schultz said on Sunday, Nov. 1 that Green Bay remains in the mix, alongside the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. Schultz reported that while Indianapolis’ asking price is considered too high, sources believe a trade is leaning to be more likely than not. The update follows a Saturday Oct. 31 confirmation of Green Bay’s interest by Packers insider Bill Huber. Previous reporting from Tom Pelissero said the Colts rejected an offer that included a 2027 second-round pick and another selection. Green Bay also has a roster challenge with its rushing consistency and Josh Jacobs’ limited production since returning from a six-game absence.
