Patrice Drago: Galleries invite you to engage all of your senses in September
September art viewing is being framed around the value of effort, not just finished results. The piece highlights multiple Annapolis-area gallery events and exhibitions, emphasizing how process and learning are embedded in the work. Annapolis Pearl Gallery’s Featured Artist of the Month is Kay Fuller, appearing on its Facebook page at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss upscaling failed paintings or reworking used pallet paper into new art. Annapolis Marine Art Gallery is spotlighting original watercolors by New England artist Paul Landry and notes a transition to an online store in 2027, while it liquidates much of its inventory. McBride Gallery hosts “Inspired!” from Sept. 12–Oct. 11, with a reception from 1–4 p.m. Saturday. Jo Fleming Contemporary Art presents “Elements in Time” through Sept. 30.
