Pen Targets Macron Over France Riots as Poll Finds 46% of Muslims Would Consider Leaving if She Wins Presidency - [your]NEWS
Marine Le Pen is stepping up her push for tighter immigration enforcement and public security after days of widespread riots in France, which damaged thousands of businesses and government buildings. As the National Rally leader challenges President Emmanuel Macron’s handling of immigration, crime and unrest, new polling suggests her election could intensify concerns among France’s Muslim population. A survey by IFOP for Marianne found that 46% of Muslim respondents would consider emigrating if Le Pen won the 2027 presidential election, with about one in five saying they would definitely leave. Le Pen’s proposals include reducing immigration, strengthening deportation procedures and expanding limits on certain religious clothing in public spaces.
