Practice status update for Jaguars' RB Chris Rodriguez
xCruzo Brief
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Rodriguez returned to full team drills during Sunday’s training camp practice for the first time. Earlier in camp, he worked only on individual reps as he ramped up after a foot injury that sidelined him during OTAs and minicamp. With Rodriguez out, Bhayshul Tuten took most of the first-team running back reps and made the most of the opportunity. Rodriguez and Tuten were expected to compete for the RB1 role, though both are still projected to play key roles this season. Rodriguez’s offseason two-year, $10 million free-agent deal adds another physical presence to the backfield.
