Report: Jaguars' DaVon Hamilton to miss rest of season with torn quad

Jacksonville Jaguars nose tackle DaVon Hamilton is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn quad in the team’s 42-7 blowout win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Hamilton exited the game in the second quarter while battling through multiple blocks. Rapoport said he will undergo additional tests, but the defensive tackle’s season is over. He was initially ruled out with what was believed to be a knee injury after exiting early. The Jaguars are ranked first in run defense, allowing 77.4 rushing yards per game and 3.39 yards per carry.
