Scheels to open store in Littleton, Colorado, in 2026

Scheels, the Fargo-based sporting goods retailer, plans to open a new store in Littleton, Colorado, with the opening slated for 2029. The 300,000+ square-foot location will add more than 500 jobs for Denver’s South Metro and will be anchored at the new Mineral Place development alongside Costco, according to a Sept. 16 press release. The store is set to include over 80 specialty shops under one roof, with services ranging from golf launch-monitor fittings and baseball bat customization to ski and bike maintenance, archery tuning, and fly fishing support. Family attractions are also planned, including a 60-foot Ferris wheel, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, and an interactive arcade.
