Search continues for 22-year-old missing in Missouri River after falling from fishing boat

Search and rescue crews continued a water rescue on the Missouri River on Monday after a 22-year-old man fell from a fishing boat in St. Charles County, Missouri. Reports that someone was in the water were received after 5 p.m. Sunday near Klondike Park, between Defiance and Augusta. Crews searched for several hours before suspending the effort overnight due to darkness. A family member identified the missing man as A.J. Soehlke, 22, from Washington, Missouri. The report says Soehlke had been on the boat with friends and did not have a life jacket on, and investigators are now searching the river with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
