Seven pictures recall 20 years of Sunderland flying boats at Pembroke Dock

Seven photographs are being used to mark nearly 20 years of Sunderland flying boat operations from RAF Pembroke Dock. The images show the aircraft across multiple stages of service, from resting on the water and moored at locations around the dock area to landing and taking off. During the Second World War, Sunderland ML824 flew anti-U-boat and convoy patrol missions. After its operational period, it was displayed in Pembroke Dock before moving to the RAF Museum in London in 1971, described as the last Sunderland to leave Pembrokeshire. The photo set also includes shots dated 1939 and the 1940s and 1950s.
