SMU-Louisville Injury Report Creates Key Questions Before ACC Showdown

SMU and No. 23 Louisville will meet Saturday afternoon with multiple lineup uncertainties. For Louisville, running back Isaac Brown is available after being listed as probable earlier in the week, and fellow back Keyjuan Brown is no longer on the injury report—both boosts for an offense facing an SMU defense that allows just 3.8 yards per rushing attempt. Louisville coach Jeff Brohm said Demeco Kennedy, a key defensive tackle, likely will not be able to play. Louisville also has tight end Travis Egan, receiver Payton Cook and several offensive linemen unavailable. SMU’s initial ACC report lists safety Ahmaad Moses, several linebackers and cornerback Deuce Gilbert out, with quarterback Kevin Jennings available, entering with 767 passing yards through two games.
