Cristiano Ronaldo ended his international career with Portugal on Thursday, announcing he will no longer play for the national team. The 41-year-old forward said it is time to pass on the No. 7 shirt and thanked Portugal supporters for his 23 years with the side. Ronaldo’s final appearance came in September in a 1-0 win over Wales. His tenure included six World Cups, a European title, and the men’s all-time international scoring record. He plans to continue his playing career at club level with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, aiming for his 1,000th career goal. The announcement came in a video message.
