Star Trek: Voyager Officially Replaces Captain Janeway In The Q Trials

A new Star Trek: Voyager release tied to The Q Trials will replace Captain Kathryn Janeway in playable form starting October 1. The update, branded as an Equinox DLC arriving the same day, lets players command the USS Equinox instead of Voyager. The mode is described as a free roguelite with randomized events, changing routes and challenges, and more freedom to assemble a crew. John de Lancie returns as Q. The Equinox, captained by Rudolph Ransom and involving First Officer Maxwell Burke and crewman Noah Lessing, is smaller than Voyager, with less building space, reduced crew capacity, and lower warp power. Janeway remains in the game’s storyline, but players can choose Ransom for this mode.
