Updates: Decision made on Joey Porter Jr. vs. Texans

Joey Porter Jr. will make his Cowboys debut against the Texans after being acquired in a trade with the Steelers earlier in the week, passing his physical and clearing practice. With kickoff set for 10:30 a.m. at Reliant Stadium, Dallas expects a pitch count—depending on game flow. For Week 4, the Cowboys list multiple inactives, including DeMarvion Overshown and others. Injuries in the secondary have prompted Dallas to elevate DBs Reddy Steward and Juanyeh Thomas from the practice squad. Malik Hooker and Shavon Revel practiced fully and are available, while Overshown remains out with a hamstring.
