“WATCH: 100 Tall Ships and Navy Vessels Fill New York Harbor for July Fourth Flotilla Parade” centers on a major Independence Day spectacle in New York Harbor, where more than 100 tall ships and Navy vessels sailed in for the July 4, 2026 festivities. The parade, organized by Sail4th 250, is described as the largest flotilla ever and will move Saturday from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge, with ships expected to pass the Statue of Liberty. Aircraft led by the Blue Angels will also fly formations over the Verrazzano Bridge beginning at 10:15 a.m. The Navy is hosting the Seventh International Naval Review, involving more than 53 U.S. and foreign warships. The event is backed by a Memorandum of Understanding between Sail4th and the U.S. Navy, with officials projecting millions of attendees.
