Watch live: Minnesota Timberwolves introduce LaMelo Ball, Josh Green after massive trade
The Minnesota Timberwolves’ massive trade reshaping their backcourt moves into a public spotlight as they prepare to introduce LaMelo Ball and Josh Green on Tuesday. The team said Ball and Green will speak at an 11 a.m. news conference at the Target Center in Minneapolis, with head coach Chris Finch and President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly attending. Minnesota acquired Ball and Green from the Charlotte Hornets last week, with the deal also involving the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls. In return, the Wolves sent fan favorite Naz Reid, a first-round pick and three second-round picks to Charlotte, plus three first-round pick swaps. Ball averaged 20.1 points and 7.1 assists last season, while Green averaged 4.3 points in 15.7 minutes.
