Why Donald Trump Jr. paid his ex-fiancée millions of dollars

Donald Trump Jr. has paid his former fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle $7.6 million for her share of a six-bedroom waterfront home in Jupiter, Florida, according to a Palm Beach County deed recorded Aug. 3. The document shows the transaction occurred July 25. The property is in Admiral’s Cove, an exclusive gated community along the Intracoastal Waterway with amenities including a marina for mega-yachts, a 30-room hotel, 45 holes of golf, and 504 private docks with no fixed bridges. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle bought the house in 2021 for $9.7 million. Trump Jr. married Bettina Anderson in May; Guilfoyle is overseas as U.S. ambassador to Greece.
