Wolverhampton airport owner killed in Swiss Alps plane crash

Anthony Hall, the managing director of Pegasus and owner of Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport, has been named as one of three people killed in a plane crash in the Swiss Alps last week. Hall, known as Tony, died when the Cirrus SR22T he was travelling in crashed high in the mountains near Leukerbad in the southern canton of Valais on 15 September. Family members said they were “completely heartbroken,” describing him as a devoted husband and father and a prominent businessman in construction and haulage who “achieved great things.” His family said they will miss him and remember him as kind, caring and determined.
