Yashin Trophy: Full List of Winners, Most Wins of All Time

The Yashin Trophy has crowned just five goalkeepers since it was created in 2019, honoring the world’s top shot-stopper each year named after Lev Yashin, the only keeper to win the Ballon d’Or. The award paused in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, then expanded six years later to include a Women’s Yashin Trophy. In the 2026 edition, nominees include 10 men and five women, with new winners possible at the Ballon d’Or ceremony. Gianluigi Donnarumma and Emiliano Martínez lead the men’s list with two wins each, while Hannah Hampton became the first women’s winner in 2025.
