xCruzo Brief
South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas unveiled a simulation of Adelaide’s new street circuit that will host the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix from next year. The €60 million project (A$96 million) is expected to finish around November 2027, when the race is scheduled. The track will be built on land previously used for the Australian Formula 1 circuit until 1995, spanning 4.13 kilometres with 15 corners. Simulation estimates put MotoGP top speed at about 343 km/h, with a projected lap time near 1 minute 26 seconds. The redevelopment includes removing 42 “significant” trees plus 335 categorized as regulated or in poor condition.
