Aprilia names tracks of 'concern' in Jorge Martin-Marc Marquez MotoGP title battle

Aprilia’s technical director Fabiano Sterlacchini says Sepang and Qatar are the circuits causing the team the most concern in the MotoGP 2026 title battle, where Jorge Martin leads Marc Marquez by just two points. After Mandalika, Aprilia did achieve a historic top-four sweep, but Martin lost Sprint points after incidents at Turn 1 involving Raul Fernandez and Bezzecchi, then did not gain overall from Sunday despite recovering in the Grand Prix. With Marco Bezzecchi third, 46 points behind, Sterlacchini highlighted last year’s results: Aprilias struggled to reach Q2 at Sepang and performances fell short even when Marquez was injured. He views Valencia as “neutral.”
