xCruzo Brief
Police in the borough have filed arson charges in a case alleging insurance fraud linked to a man’s own broken-down vehicle. Errol Dalton Curling Jr., 46, of Wilkes-Barre, is accused of setting fire to two cars stored at Tire Choice Auto Service Center in Kingston. Prosecutors say the fires occurred early on June 6, shortly before 2 a.m., when Curling’s 2005 Jaguar XJ and a 2011 Ford Explorer owned by a Nanticoke woman caught fire. Investigators ruled the blazes arson, allegedly started separately from inside the vehicles. Surveillance reportedly showed an individual arriving on an electronic scooter who smashed windows and ignited them.
