Aston Martin Basically Made a Halo Warthog for Call of Duty
Aston Martin reportedly created a fantasy “military SUV” concept for the Call of Duty universe, dubbed the Dreadnought, and one full-size model is on display at Fanatics Fest in New York City running through the weekend. The concept, presented by Aston, blends what it describes as performance “levels” of a supercar, advanced armor technologies, and adaptive combat-zone intelligence into a single design. The vehicle is portrayed with a V12 in theory, along with luxury touches such as herringbone-weave carbon fiber and Oxford Tan leather, plus a matte, desaturated British Racing Green-style paint. Design details include a duckbill spoiler on the decklid and an Aston-recognizable front. Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said he imagined the Dreadnought navigating New York and Mumbai’s monsoon roads. The piece compares the move to past Call of Duty collaborations, including Jeep’s Wrangler edition in 2012.
