Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia practice, qualifying and race times, UK times, plus weather forecast

The Bahrain Grand Prix returns to the F1 calendar in Malaysia for round 16 of the 2026 season, taking place from 2–4 October. The last race winner was George Russell, who claimed his first grand prix victory since June in Azerbaijan by leading from start to finish. His Mercedes teammate and championship leader, Kimi Antonelli, finished fifth despite starting 16th on the grid after a qualifying mistake. On the podium in Azerbaijan, Russell was joined by Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar. The Bahrain race was originally postponed in March, a month before it was due to be held. Race start for Sunday’s 56-lap event is set for 08:00 BST.
