Baltimore police investigate crash after 11-year-old struck crossing the road

Baltimore police are investigating a crash in which an 11-year-old boy was struck while attempting to cross the road. The incident occurred at around 8:40 a.m. in the 2300 block of Harford Road, according to a statement from the Baltimore Police Department (BPD). The child was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical but stable condition. Investigators said the driver remained at the scene, and the BPD’s Accident Investigation Unit is handling the case. The collision is the latest in a series of vehicle-pedestrian incidents involving children in the area. Last Friday, students from Dundalk High School were reportedly injured after being hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Devale and Holabird Avenues.
