Caraway review: is this the best saute pan that money can buy? I tested to find out

Caraway released a 3-quart sauté pan, featuring an aluminum core, ceramic nonstick coating, and stainless steel handles, designed to be induction-safe and oven-safe up to 550F. The pan weighs about 5.5 pounds and is promoted as non-toxic and PFAS-free, aligning with premium cookware expectations despite a higher price. In performance tests, it heated 1 quart of water to a rolling boil in roughly seven minutes on medium heat, and its tall sides contained splatters effectively. The pan delivered easy deglazing and nonstick performance, with onions sliding out in a neat pile. Searing chicken thighs produced a golden crust, though the base heated quickly and the main handle remained comfortable to use.
