Chris Pratt's 128-Minute Action Epic Officially Arrives on HBO Max

A 2017 action installment headlined by Chris Pratt has arrived on HBO Max, adding to a period of streaming uncertainty for the franchise. The movie, released in 2017, is said to be among the most expensive films ever made. A recent report cited new UK filings that claim it became the costliest project of all time, with a reported production budget above $600 million, although the budget has long been stated at roughly $460 million. The report also notes that director J.A. Bayona will lead the franchise’s upcoming eighth installment. Pratt recently returned with the second season of Prime Video’s The Terminal List, which topped viewership charts quickly.
