Clown Is Trying to Injure Himself": Sean Strickland Sparks Backlash for Sparring Just One Day After Scary Accident
Sean Strickland returned to the gym less than 24 hours after a serious vehicle crash, sparking backlash among fans. The UFC middleweight champion was photographed and described as back in training with elbow pads while showing visible scratches and wounds on his shoulders and upper body. Strickland acknowledged he “should not be sparring right now” and referenced the timing, saying the accident had been “scary.” In an earlier video, he said he and a friend were driving at about 60 mph when the vehicle rolled six times, and he showed damage and injuries, including head impacts and abrasions from hitting the ground. The report also recalls Strickland’s prior 2018 motorcycle crash, which sidelined him for more than two years before his 2020 Octagon return.
