Eagles RB Saquon Barkley out vs. Rams with hamstring injury

Saquon Barkley was ruled out for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Sunday game against the Los Angeles Rams after suffering a hamstring injury on his second carry. The running back was limping at the end of a 6-yard run with 11:34 remaining in the first quarter, and replays showed him rubbing the back of his right leg before heading to the medical tent. He was replaced by Tank Bigsby and did not return. Philadelphia initially listed Barkley as questionable. Barkley, 29, entered the match with 182 rushing yards and no touchdowns in four games, including 8 yards on two carries on Sunday. In his previous three games vs. the Rams since joining Philadelphia, he totaled 506 yards and four touchdowns on 70 carries, including a franchise-record 255-yard game on Nov. 24, 2024.
