Europe's cheapest EV returns as an all-new Dacia Spring with 155 miles of range
xCruzo Brief
Dacia’s second-generation all-new Spring is set to keep its budget appeal while adding a stronger design, more in-car technology and up to 155 miles (250 km) of range. Motor1 reports the new Spring starts at €17,900 in Italy, with pricing expected to stay under €20,000 in other European markets before incentives. The car uses an 80-horsepower single electric motor and a 27.5-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. Optional 50-kW DC fast charging can move from 15% to 80% in 28 minutes. Unlike the prior model made in China, the new Spring will be built in Renault Group’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia.
