Ferrari among 307 vehicles recovered by CBP Baltimore office
U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Baltimore Field Office reported that it recovered 307 stolen vehicles at seaports in fiscal year 2025, a 23% increase from the prior year. According to a CBP release dated July 15, the vehicles were being exported overseas and were collectively valued at $14.5 million. The Baltimore office, which covers seaports in Maryland and an area from Trenton, New Jersey, to the Virginia–North Carolina line, was described as CBP’s second busiest region for stolen vehicle exports. The Area Port of Baltimore ranked third nationally with 122 recoveries valued around $5.2 million. SUVs made up 73% of the recovered vehicles, and model years 2020 through 2025 accounted for 84%. Highest-value recoveries included a $269,885 2024 Lamborghini Urus and a $239,100 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider.
