Ferrari CEO says he 'would not change anything' about polarizing Luce EV debut

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said the company “would not change anything” about the polarizing debut of its Luce all-electric vehicle, despite backlash that coincided with a decline in Ferrari shares. Speaking Thursday during a call on second-quarter results, Vigna told reporters he was “very pleased” with what was done in the spring launch. He declined to provide order numbers or expected sales for the Luce, priced at 550,000 euros (about $640,000). Ferrari reported that its order books are full through 2027. The Financial Times reported Ferrari planned to sell just under 500 units in 2025, filling the quota in less than two months after the May 25 launch.
