Fiat Multiplay Concept Is A Wacky Watermelon-Inspired Wagon-Up Truck That We're Smitten With - Jalopnik
xCruzo Brief
Stellantis brought a batch of concept cars to the Paris Motor Show, but the Fiat Multiplay is the one grabbing attention. It’s a playful take on Fiat’s old Multipla MPV, originally debuted in the 1950s and later revived in the late 1990s as the quirky, swollen six-seater. The Multiplay concept pushes versatility further, featuring a “Metamorfosi” C-pillar that slides so the family wagon can transform into a pickup-style layout. A “Petsenger” seat is designed to be used as a pet bed, a perch for a child seat, or a small table/storage area. Fiat says the green exterior and bright red-and-pink cabin are inspired by watermelons and Italian summer togetherness.
