Ford recalls more than 125,000 vehicles. See the affected models

Ford is issuing recalls on more than 125,000 vehicles after repairs were performed incorrectly, a move prompted by four National Highway Traffic Safety Administration campaigns. The agency lists recall numbers 26V373000, 26V374000, 26V375000 and 26V376000. The affected models include 91,198 units of the 2018–2020 Ford F-150, 18,124 of the 2017 Escape, 10,742 of the 2018 F-150, 3,763 of the 2015–2018 Focus, and 1,489 of the 2013–2016 Fusion. Issues range from daytime running lamps that may fail to dim to faulty power-operated windows and to concerns with gear selection and the transmission clutch. Dealers will reprogram the body control module software at no charge, and owners should receive notification by July 6.

These recalls reflect a pattern where prior repairs were deemed insufficient, potentially compromising safety and increasing crash risk. Ford assigns recall codes 26C28 for the F-150 DRL issue and 26C29 for the Escape window problem, with additional campaigns covering the remaining models.
