Formula 1 US Grand Prix Austin, 23 to 25 October
The Formula 1 US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin runs 23 to 25 October 2026, with practice beginning Friday and the race scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Central (4:00 p.m. Eastern). The weekend matters for Mexican fans because Sergio “Checo” Pérez will race for Cadillac, a new American team making its grid debut. F1 lists the race as 56 laps on a 5.513 km circuit. Cadillac is still searching for its first points finish; Motorsport Week reports it is the only team without a point, with best results so far of 13th by Valtteri Bottas in China and Pérez’s best of 14th. After the 2023 season runner-up and 2024 Red Bull exit, Pérez returned in 2026 alongside Bottas, under principal Graeme Lowdon. The next rounds are Mexico City (30 Oct–1 Nov) and São Paulo (6–8 Nov), followed by Las Vegas (19–21 Nov).
